Many of the 50 + crowd are concerned about their health--exercising, eating right, and getting fresh air--but, don't forget-career fitness/ health is also important! It is vital to being part of the health for 50+.
Of course, career satisfaction is critical for all ages, but, as more "baby boomers" turn 50--about 17,000 a month. one report states--one takes stock of her life and feels satisfied or not if she hates her job, dreads going to work, grinds her teeth, overeats out of frustration, has relationship difficulties due to her depression at not liking what she does--wishing she'd done something else.wishing she'd followed her dream.
Here is a simple checklist for career health for the 50+:
1. Do you find yourself dreading Mondays & work?
2. Do you find you make any excuse not to go in to work?!
3. Are you thinking you've let your dreams go by?
4. Do you feel too old to make a change?
5. What would you love to do/be that would bring career satisfaction and increase career health?
